If you thought the bare simplicity of Tetris couldn’t be improved upon, well, you are probably right. However, a bunch of folks have put a page up on the interwebs to demonstrate how they plan to bring a little more of a physical challenge to the table.

Tresling is the combination of Tetris and…arm wrestling! The competitors engage the normal arm wrestling position, while moving their arms side to side in order to maneuver the blocks. I’d imagine that if you’re not the strongest person out there, you could end up with a pretty messed up game…like this:

I just hope they’ve managed to retain the original Tetris soundtrack. However, I’m thinking with all ‘re-invention’ projects out there they’ve got some sort of guitar-infused faux-punk soundtrack from a band we’ll never hear from again. Alien Ant Farm, anyone?
